Old Age Home (HOLY HOME Jara Niwas)

HOLY HOME has established a Residential Home (JARA NIWAS) for the elderly persons, who have been ignored / tortured by their families, which is also funded by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India since the year 2010-11

The Old Age Home (Jara Niwas) is an institutional service delivery programme for the destitute elderly of the society. This is a ‘home away from home’. For the inmates of the Old Age Home, HOLY HOME is providing the basic services like shelter, food, clothing, toiletries, regular medical check-up and provision of free medicines to 25 nos. of older persons including male and female. For their comfortable staying organization has provided individual beds & blankets in the dormitories. Hygienic and nutritional food also provided for the old age people including tea & snacks as per the menu of the scheme. For their recreation, the organization has provided musical instruments, television and mythological magazines. Their outing to the social puja occasions, temple places are taken care.

Besides, counselling support for their inclusion in their families is also a part of the organization.
